     Money back guarantee

  • I am very confident in my abilities to help dogs and their owners with behavioural issues, so I offer a money back guarantee for behavioural packages under the following conditions:

  • Many behavioural issues are closely linked to the behaviours of the owner(s). Lasting behavioural change in a dog is closely related to the extent to which you, as an owner, work to implement practical changes to your own behaviour and family routines.

  • It is the client's responsibility to implement the training plan I provide, and any requests and recommendations made by myself as trainer and canine behaviourist. This might include purchasing new equipment such as; leash, collar, harness, car safety kit and seat belt, crate, toys, basic agility set, etc.

  • Clients need to provide regular feedback and videos, ideally no less than twice a week. It is the client's responsibility to respond to Denzel’s Dog Training check ins.

    Bookings/Workshops/Webinars

  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they attend on the correct date, time, and place. It is the client's responsibility to ensure they have the correct and suitable equipment that may be recommended in advance.

  • Refunds are not given for non-attendance. Clients need to ensure they arrive either in person or virtually to allow time to contact me should they experience any issue BEFORE the event starts.

    One-to-One In-Person Sessions

  • If your dog is not comfortable around people or used to strangers it is your responsibility to ensure I am aware of this before any in-person sessions take place.

  • Failure to give full information about the dog's previous bite/threat history can lead to legal action being taken if injury occurs.

  • It is the owner's responsibility to be available, prepared, and on time for the session.

    Pictures and videos

  • I may sometimes wish to take pictures and use these for advertising and will always ask if this is acceptable, but you must notify me if you do not permit me to do this.

  • Short videos are part of the training programme that are important to show you parts of a session that might need more practice. I will also ask you for short videos to update me of your progress and identify any handling issues.

  • Owners remain responsible for their dogs during all sessions.

    Owners’ responsibilities

  • Children are welcome to attend sessions with a responsible adult & must follow the trainer’s guidance for their safety & the safety of others.

  • When training in public areas, it is the owner’s responsibility to ensure their dogs are fully vaccinated, wormed & have had a full vets health check.

  • Due to the nature of working with sentient animals, I cannot guarantee that your dog will not be exposed to stress, as this is often an essential part of the process of overcoming these stressors. While the aim is to keep stress to a minimum, you will be working practically with your dog in real world environments, where you and your dog may be alongside other people and dogs, cars, and other stressor stimuli. I will, however, always act for the long-term psychological health and welfare of your dog.

  • Denzels Dog Training cannot accept responsibility for injury, or damage to a person, dog, or property.

  • All and any bite history towards humans and other dogs must be declared at the time of enquiry/booking.

  • Travel costs may apply if outside the Lincoln city area and will be agreed at time of booking.

  • If I feel that you are not meeting the Animal Welfare Act 2006 towards your animals, I will advise you on how to improve this. However, if I observe that there is no significant improvement, it is my duty to report you to the RSPCA. Any behaviour or act by a dog/owner which renders Denzel’s Dog Training liable under The Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, The Control of Dogs Order 1992 or The Animal Welfare Act 2006 may lead to termination of services without notice.
